ALL ABILITIES FRIENDLY FLY FISHERS
HELPING TO IMPROVE ABILITY REGARDLESS OF DISABILITY
Our Aim is to support and promote fishing as a pass time for the enjoyment of all anglers. We help beginners and experienced members of our club young and old and anywhere in between. At the same time, we aim to take care of the environment we fish in.
If you require any more information regarding what we do, or where we fish or the types of outings we go on and if your requiring transport and/or the fishing tackle to fish with please get in touch with us.
About us
helpers: our helpers are experienced fly fishing anglers
Mark Ian & Shaun who are the founders of the AAFFF have been joined by other willing anglers equally dedicated to the aims of the AAFFF, we enjoy helping people get out fly fishing who otherwise would not be able to do so. If you would like to help us help others please come and join us.
our aims: objectives
We as a club aim to bring everyone together whose hobby and pastime is the art of fly fishing, to get young and old and anywhere in between out enjoying fly fishing in a non competitive friendly environment.
members: would you like to join us
Our current members range from 10 and go up to 92, their ability ranges from “I can do that to I think I need some help”, be it carrying kit, getting in or out & using a boat or tackling up. We are there to give any one of our members the help they ask for, All Abilities welcome, come join us for a fun day out.
Since joining the AAFFF a couple years ago I would highly recommend it to any person, able or disabled, as it is exactly as it says. It’s FRIENDLY! I had previously been in other organisations but when it came down to it they only to achieve wins in competition not have great days out. This club treats everyone exactly the same whether you’re a brilliant fly fisherman or, like me, you only catch the occasional fish. The helpers are excellent and make sure that everyone has a great days fishing. Personally, I have found that I have learnt more from this experience with them and more importantly, I can go fishing knowing I will have a good day out with great company.

The outings are assisted days fishing as per individuals needs, transport or car share could be arranged. We mainly boat fish but bank fishing can be accommodated on most the waters fished (ability depending), You can start the day where available with a hearty breakfast and talk a good days fishing, partners are paired up dependent on each person’s needs and fishing styles, we encourage members to fish with different members on our outings to build many friendships as this is another aim of AAFFF.
